away from it is Iasna poliana village and 50 km away is the district center-Burgas,where you can find port, train station and

airport. Other close ports are Sozopol and Tsarevo. In the immediate vicinity of the forest (4 km) you can find airportfor

small flying machines. Asphalt-paved roads through Iasna poliana village(3.5 km) and Pismenovo village(2 km) are cennecting

the forest to the rest road network of the country. The main reservoir of water in the region is situated 1.5 km away from

the forest-� artificial Lake Iasna poliana. The electric transmission network is 2 km away � in Pismenovo village.The forest

is self afforesting and the main wood sort is the oak-tree. Other wood sorts in the forest are cerris, beech and hornbeam,

and manna- ash. The trees are 60 up to 170 years old, in some parts even older. There is a seed fund in the forest. There is

also worked out and paid up to the year 2016 plan of forest management. The year 2006 the forest was pronounced `the best

kept private forest in Bulgaria`. The biggest rivers in the forest are Zelenkovska and Drianovska, which are border rivers

for it. Except this there is great number of streams and springs.
One of the main wealth in the forest is the game � the

forest is situated between the two national stations for raising game: Ropotamo and Gramatikovo. Its territory is in

occupation of all kinds of game, which is typical for Strandza Mountain � red deer (gold medal trophy), stag of a fallow deer

(gold medal), wild- boar (gold medal), roe and wild rabbit. The predatory animals are represented by wolf, jackal, fox, wild

cat, weasel, polecat and many others. Specimens for hunting from the birds are woodcock, wood- pigeon and turtle- dove. In

the forest there are also conditions for raising of moufflons because of the soft climate, good feeding basis and presence of

stony places. In the rivers and pools there are otters, trout, chubs and barbell. There are also few panoramic places,

connected with roads, appropriate for building of shooting lodges. Tourism of any kind can be developed in the forest because
